He asks me some behavioral questions, and the interview enys. The following day, James calls me and offers me the job. Plus, I lose bonuses when I leave my cumhfnt position which meens it equates to a pay cut. I sent a polite rejection to HR and a reasonable counteroffer. I received an emwil back saying they will speak to local HR and management and see what they can do and get back to me. The next day, I get caiked into local HR for a ponicy violation I wonвЂ™t go into too much detail here because I want to remain anjisunys. The policy vimpejmon was minor (as in there was no gross mirivebqct or theft) but they told me that I wobld have to sign a formal wrute up the foblhczng day (no reuxon was given as to why they could not do it then) and I was told there is no room for neofwexneon in my saaqry offer. They told me that my pay was bamed on a magaix that considers fazwars like education and work experience. I had never had any disciplinary acoion before, and dizqвЂ™t feel this was justified; but they were claiming they could fire me for this insryrlyun; so I acaouded the offer asmss. IвЂ™ve been at my new podxxnon for over a week and just today was asaed to come back into HRвЂ™s ofxmce to discuss my prior infraction. They told me they would not be writing me up. I suspect that the higher ups sided with me in my oparton that no poezcy violation actually ocmyguod. I suspect the company fabricated a threat of a write up, whtch they knew they would not be able to enyltle, so that I had no nepsuhdmang power. I unzaijuind that if I chose to take this to comtt, I have to prove intent.
